Ein-Ganim School

Ein-Ganim school is not just a normal school; it is the only school in Petach-Tikva that teaches gifted and normal kids together. The school has a dedicated staff of 37 teachers, and 6 of them are working in management.

Right now there are 526 students in Ein-Ganim School. In Ein-Ganim School there are pupils from Petach-Tikva and from Rosh-Haain, too. The school was founded in-1965. It was called "Ein-Ganim" in the memory of the 1st workers Moshav. The school is built from two buildings with three floors and there's one building with one floor for the management team. The school has one big courtyard and two small courtyards.

The school is based on honor, democracy, equality and homeland love.

The symbol of our school stands for peace, technology, heritage and our country.

There are many different things at Ein-Ganim School:

  • There small gatherings to open every week;
  • There is an annual tournament in the memory of Aviv Gonen that died in the tragedy of the helicopters;
  • The school offers a chorus, a dance group and an orchestra;
  • There are contribution days in our school for children that are sick or poor;
  • We have apprentice projects;
  • The school always tries to cultivate the connection between the younger division and the older division;
  • We have special breaks for dancing and sports;
  • We dance and play many sports games;
  • Sometimes there are sweet breaks. The parents come to the school and bring many sweets with them. People (children and their parents) buy the sweets and the money that is collected is used for charity for poor and sick children and for buying new things for the school;
  • There are many parades on holidays, "Sports day", "Student day" and the "Book day". It is a day when all the pupils' work (of all ages) is presented to their parents;
  • All of these things are giving us a lot of fun, learning and adventures.

Mrs. Hedy Rosenthal the principal of Ein Ganim is taking part in a school ceremony.

The school pupils signed a tolerance pledge. It consists of the following principles:

  1. We believe in our right and our duty to respect and honor and his or her privacy;
  2. We believe in the right of anyone to express an opinion;
  3. We believe in giving opportunity for everyone to use his potential;
  4. We believe in the deepening the sense of belonging to the Israeli nation;
  5. We believe in self-responsibility of a person's actions and their consequences.
